Job Title: Weaver Operator

Job DescriptionWe are a leading advanced material provider for the composite and protective markets, specializing in the manufacture of soft armor.As a Weaver Operator, you will be responsible for making circuit looms, bombing the yarn, and ensuring the quality of the product.You will work primarily on the air jet loom and Rapier loom, with opportunities to work in the carbon room for additional compensation and to grow into other roles within the company.ResponsibilitiesSet up the weaver machineThread needles by handEnsure attention to detail throughout the processInspect products to ensure patterns are correctPick count and identify any defects or anomalies in the fabricFlag down fixer apprentices if a quality issue is identifiedEssential SkillsAttention to detailAbility to walk 4-7 miles and stay on feet for extended periodsGeneral labor skillsMechanically inclinedMechanical skillsAssembly experienceProduction experienceMachine operation experienceInspection skillsWork Environment

You will be working on a 7a-7p 2x2x3 schedule, with openings on both A shift and B shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.49 - $19.49/hr.
