The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Web, Data and Analytics Manager oversees and manages the strategy, resources, processes, and technology that support WWP’s internal and external websites and the creation and maturation of WWP data warehouse implementation and related technologies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement strategies for WWP website platforms and content management systems to support the business needs of all key stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies for effective data collection, storage, and management.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the organization’s analytics strategy and goals. Identify and prioritize business questions and objectives that can be addressed through data analysis.
Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights to different business units. Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with the organization’s key performance metrics.
Lead a team of data analysts, BI and ETL developers, SharePoint and Website administrators, and a senior data architect.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance the team’s skills and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and cooperation on key initiatives.
Evaluate and select appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies to support the organization’s needs. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Work closely with business leaders, department heads, and executives to understand their data requirements and provide insights that support their decision-making processes. Act as a trusted advisor on data-driven strategies and initiatives.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of processes and systems. Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Work collaboratively with other business units that provide analytics to leverage modern data warehouse and data integrations technologies to drive efficiencies and through automation of ETL processes for data transformation and aggregation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Strong understanding of Web Site development languages, SharePoint, and modern content management systems.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and SQL programming languages.
Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics (G4) or similar platforms.
Knowledge of data management and governance principles, including data quality assurance, data privacy, and security.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Mentor and coach team. Provide coaching as needed to help develop skills.
Assess team member skill gaps to determine training that will complement skills.
Manage and evaluate contractor and development partner interactions: i.e., work assignments, performance quality and cost, etc.
Ability to lead a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively and efficiently with varying complexity.
Experience managing IT Applications functions - software development, implementation, and support and maintenance services; scope management, timeline, budget, SDLC (Agile, etc.).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills; team player.

EXPERIENCE
Requirements
Four years of experience leading and managing internal and external website development and support.
Four years of experience working with database/data warehouse and data integration/ETL platforms (on premise and cloud).
Four years of IT leadership experience.
Preferences
Three years of experience leading a data warehouse or business intelligence team or similar analytical role.
Three years of experience working with Microsoft Azure PaaS.
Three years of experience with Snowflake.
Two years of experience with SnapLogic.
EDUCATION
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, engineering, applied mathematics, or computer science. Equivalent combination of applicable education, training, certification, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Preferences
Master’s degree in data science, statistics, engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, or other related field.
