Description Web Accessibility Specialist - Contract - 40hrs/week - Arlington, TX We are seeking a Web Accessibility Specialist to join our team on an 18-month contract. This position requires 40 hours per week and offers a hybrid work schedule based in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ensuring websites meet accessibility standards and have hands-on experience with CMS platforms and accessibility tools. A Day in the Life/Responsibilities: + Utilize SiteImprove to pull reports and analyze data across various lists and departments. + Work within a CMS (such as Sitecore, Drupal, or WordPress) to remediate issues identified on department sites. + Style websites to enhance accessibility, including applying proper color contrast, alt tagging for images, and ARIA tags. + Collaborate with Business Analysts to document issues that cannot be remediated. + Ensure compliance with ADA standards and WCAG best practices.
