Waste Connections has an Internship opportunity for a Web Analyst/Content Specialist at our corporate office in the Woodlands, Texas! As a Web Analyst/Content Specialist, you will: Assist the web team in website tracking and organizing website information for the purpose of ongoing maintenance and management. Assist with migrating websites from older platforms to the latest corporate platform. Assist in analyzing content performance and developing new content for various web properties. Assist with technical tasks regarding website certificates, DNS, and domain management. Responsibilities: + Learn our web content management platform and help the web team build and maintain websites for various locations across the company + Participate in team efforts to make improvements across all web properties + Participate in team efforts to analyze and improve SEO for targeted web properties + Review customer feedback to suggest UX changes and improved content to meet customer needs. + Work cross-functionally with internal partners and stakeholders including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Social Media teams to deliver web content or solutions to meet current needs. + Learn our domain management practices to assist with more technical tasks in this area Desired skills/interests + Web content creation/editing + Strong writing skills + Some understanding of digital marketing and SEO (search engine optimization) + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Strong communication skills + Tech skills desired + Basic SQL skills + Basic HTML, Javascript, CSS skills + Some knowledge of domains, DNS, and SSL certificates + Bonus if experienced with the following (not required) + Google Analytics + Graphics software + Wordpress **Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
