We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Application Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop robust, secure, and user-friendly web applications using .NET, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. You will also play a key role in enhancing our CMS product and modules, as well as assisting with the development and maintenance of LRS corporate websites. Your primary objectives will include creating error-free, fast-loading, and easy-to-navigate applications that are cross-browser compatible. Additionally, you will deliver aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly designs that consistently exceed client expectations
This position is a 1-year assignment with a potential for permanent employment. You will be based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois, or remotely for the right candidate; Local candidates will be given preference. We offer a flexible work environment with a two-day-a-week work-from-home option and a casual dress code across all LRS offices.

Web Application Development: Develop high-quality web applications that meet performance and security standards. Contribute to the development and enhancement of our CMS product and modules. Ensuring that the applications are error-free, fast-loading, easy to navigate, and cross-browser compatible while delivering aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly designs that exceed client expectations. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and complaints in a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable manner. Maintain excellent communication with clients and team members, discuss goals, anticipate future needs, and make appropriate suggestions. Sharing information proactively with the team to produce excellent products and services. Work Collaboratively: Actively participate in team, project, and estimating meetings. Coordinate work with others, deliver work on time, complete and without errors. Share information proactively to help the entire group work effectively and produce excellent products. You will collaborate with developers, designers, salespeople, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.Performance Factors:
Quickly learn LRS Web Solutions’ processes, services, and products while becoming proficient with the LRS Antilles Content Management System. Collaborate with the team to produce outstanding solutions and consistently deliver exceptional work on time and within budget. Stay up to date on web development trends to effectively meet client needs and expectations.
Applicant Requirements:
Must have at least two years of experience developing web-based solutions using Microsoft Technologies. Strong database design and object-oriented programming skills. Experience building web applications using ASP.NET. Full stack development skills with HTML and CSS. Experience with Agile development methodology and Azure DevOps. Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer without sponsorship. Having three - four years of experience developing web-based solutions using Microsoft Technologies. VB.NET experience, Entity Framework, and Dependency Injection.Organization Structure and Interfaces:
The LRS Web Solutions group consists of Account Representatives, Graphic Designers, Front End Web Developers, Web Application Developers, Project Managers, Network Consultants, a User Experience Specialist, an Administrative Assistant, and the Director. The team is based in Springfield, Illinois but serves clients nationwide. You will work with project teams to build and maintain websites and report to the Director of Web Solutions.
Salary range: $70,000-$100,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits. This range represents the low and high for this position. The salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance.
