Description: Cisco’s Enterprise Data Services team is seeking to hire a skilled Web Application Front-End Developer for our San Jose, CA office with deep technical expertise and a strong focus on user experience. Candidate will work to design, develop, and implement graph visualization capabilities for our systems as well as improve the overall experience of our data management tools.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the front-end development of graph visualization capabilities for our Hierarchy Management Platform
· Partner with core stakeholders to improve the UX/UI of our data management tools
· Collaborate with developers to propose new designs (within technical constraints) that provide a positive user experience
· Rapidly prototype data visualization solutions with business users for iterative solutioning

o Relevant and demonstrated work experience
With regards to technology:
o Deep and fluent knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, jQuery
o Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, Node.js, D3.js
Optional:
o Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3 is a plus
o Familiarity with Graph Databases like Neo4J is a plus
o Familiarity with RESTful Web Service Development is a plus
o Familiarity with JAVA, Hadoop, and/or Composite technologies are a plus
