This position, reporting directly to the Associate Director of PME Systems and Solutions, will function as an integrated and collaborative member of the HMS IT Web Team. The Web Developer – Full Stack Drupal will partner with the PME’s Web Governance Committee and PME’s Digital Content Producer and the Office of Communication and External Relations (OCER) to establish the priorities by gathering and clarifying business requirements and develop technical scope and documentation; designing, writing, testing and maintaining Drupal modules and themes, and integrating Drupal with external APIs; conducting design and architecture reviews of new applications and major system enhancements; building automated content migrations from the existing websites to Drupal 10; and institute stakeholder quality-assurance workflows. The candidate will also project manage the migration of PME’s website to gather and communicate technical requirements and then, plan, organize and create tasks to turn requirements into deliverable and actionable items. They will also simultaneously manage different phases of the technical project plans for PME’s website for its migration to the HMS Flagship. The ideal candidate will bring not only expertise on user experience and interactive design to the PME offices to create compelling, successful digital experiences for current and prospective students, faculty and staff, but possess effective project management skills with the ability to develop and manage relationship with PME stakeholders.
