Web Developer. Candidates with strong profiles highlighting their experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Restful web services will only be considered for this role. 
We have an immediate need for a Web Developer to work on-site in Freeport initially, but the manager is open to considering a part-time remote arrangement for a strong performer.    A 60-minute on-line screening test will be given to all candidates to take at their convenience.  It must be taken in one sitting – they cannot stop and restart.  The hiring manager wants to emphasize that candidates need to have experience and be proficient with JavaScript and jQuery in addition to HTML and CSS.  When advertising for Web Developers previously, we were seeing experience concentrated only on HTML/CSS coding to build pages and create an attractive presentation.  This role requires a strong understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.      Required competencies:Extensive experience with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.Experience with React and Redux.Experience with Node.js and Server-Side Frameworks (Hapi preferred).Experience with Webpack and Babel.Experience with static linting and unit testing frameworks.Implementing and consuming AJAX/JSON/REST Web Services.Familiarity with universal JavaScript, progressive enhancement and responsive web design.Excellent written and verbal English-language skills.Preferred:Experience authoring JavaScript libraries.Accessibility and SEO knowledge.Familiarity with command-line Linux/Unix environment.For faster process, call to - (202) 719-0200 Ext:207.
