Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Web Developer in Newark, New Jersey. As a Web Developer, you will be tasked with creating user-friendly, dynamic, and responsive websites or web applications. You will work closely with a team of designers, content creators, and backend developers to deliver seamless online experiences that align with our objectives. Responsibilities: • Design, construct, and manage websites using modern web technologies, ensuring the sites are secure, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines. • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ensure compatibility across devices and browsers. • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs, databases, and server-side functionality, along with working with content management systems to update and manage website content. • Optimize website performance for speed and scalability, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to usability, functionality, and performance. • Regularly test the website to identify and fix bugs or errors, ensuring the website meets accessibility and SEO standards. • Implement design mockups and wireframes in collaboration with UI/UX designers, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback. • Use Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking, and apply Agile Scrum methodologies in project execution. • Employ Ajax for client-side scripting and conduct A/B testing to optimize user experience. • Leverage your backend development skills to enhance website functionality and performance.
