Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Midland, Michigan. As a Web Developer, you will be tasked with creating user-friendly websites, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring that all websites align with brand standards. You will also collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless user experience and integrate SEO best practices into the development process. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain functional and user-friendly websites and web applications • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to integrate creative concepts into the development process • Write efficient code for both frontend and backend to implement website features and functionality • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring minimal downtime and a smooth user experience across all platforms • Monitor website performance and implement improvements, while ensuring the security of all web applications through up-to-date coding practices and security protocols • Manage Content Management Systems (CMS), such as WordPress, and assist internal teams with website content updates • Integrate SEO best practices into web development processes and work with the marketing team to implement tracking and analytics tools • Work with IT and operations teams to ensure website functionality is integrated with the company’s broader tech infrastructure, including hosting, database management, and security.
