Web Manager

This position is responsible for the management of Troon.com and its subsidiary websites including state/regional co-ops and our Troon Magazine site. Key daily tasks will include making a variety of content updates, building new pages, assisting in maintaining an SQL database and forms. The successful candidate will have experience managing multiple web projects, e-commerce, and working with both internal and external stakeholders (vendors and partners) to deliver excellent web experiences.

Essential Duties:

Serve as the main point of contact for all facets of Troon.com Work closely with external vendor to continuously report on and optimize site performance and security Lead creation of new web content (stories, video, podcasts, press releases, dedicated pages) Lead maintenance of database-reliant content in conjunction with marketing and tech teams Lead and improve web project workflow from clients and internally using internal tools (ex: Wrike) Work collaboratively with Sales & Marketing department to deliver revenue-generating experiences Effectively communicate deadlines and scopes of work with corporate team and club contacts Absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients Quickly adapt to new technologies and provide recommendations and proposed action plans for site improvement Meet tight deadlines and multi-task between numerous projects at a given time Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) and minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
Frequently sits, talks, hears, uses hands. Regularly walks and stands. Occasionally reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crawls and crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
Noise level is moderate and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability Preferences:

Ability to read and speak English (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time Expert in WordPress, experience with WooCommerce preferred Knowledge of web-based languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
