Overview:
As a Web Producer, you will be working in an agile team to assist with performing daily maintenance and content changes on Symantec's customer facing web properties. You will work with your team to groom and execute the team's backlog in an efficient manner while maintaining an outstanding user experience for our customers. The scope of the work will be global in nature.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in web content management, with the ability to code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A strong analytical mind and drive to execute tasks efficiently is ideal. Experience working in a large enterprise, content management systems, and agile processes are a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:• Maintain web content using content management systems (Teamsite and/or Adobe CQ5)• Update online web pages, marketing collateral, and links• Create custom web pages to support marketing themes• Analyzing and processing requests and processes in an Agile team• Help maintain a content control process to ensure the quality of web propertiesSkills:• Strong technical web production skills – including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML • Excellent decision making and process development skills as well as quick and efficient response to changing demands and schedules. • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and document bugs • Understanding of responsive design and best practices • Good written and verbal communication skills• 2-4 years of web production experience in a corporate web-publishing environmentKeywords:
