Web/SharePoint App Developer with Javascript & JSON

This position is for a web designer that is a talented and experienced design professional with strong visual skills and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The web designer executes creatively and effectively while working on deadline-driven projects. They approach all work with a focus on expanding brand awareness and improving the user experience through creative, impactful design solutions that meet strategic and organizational goals. The web designer is responsible for designing appealing and SharePoint/Web solutions, using current standards-based web design practices, user-centered design principles, and popular brand guides. They will produce interactive mock-ups, graphics, and wireframe prototypes for complex, interactive web properties and be responsible for creating and maintaining the design system. The web designer has a broad range of skills and abilities that include strong knowledge of UX/UI (gathering user requirements, conducting user research, and user testing) and interactive components. They will have a strong understanding of SharePoint/Website capabilities and be able to design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions that meet our organization's unique needs, as well as the ability to leverage JavaScript, HTML, and Visual Studio code to build custom features for our clients. The SharePoint/Website Developer will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of SharePoint applications. Responsibilities SharePoint Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint/Website solutions and applications, including sites, web parts, interactive and dynamic workflows, forms, and lists Utilize JavaScript and its JavaScript libraries, HTML, and Visual Studio to build to target requirements Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook Manage SharePoint site collections, permissions, and content Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise Apply software updates and patches to ensure system security and stability Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to propose innovative solutions, understand client process and solicit requirements Collaborate with other contract team members to ensure seamless integration of SharePoint as directed by the client Communicate design ideas using wireframes, process flows, and sitemaps Create and maintain design systems, including user interface elements like menus, tabs, buttons, and widgets Regularly review and update design kit and site styles Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and appear, and support decisions with clear, detailed evidence and rationale Create and resize raster and vector graphics Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback Prioritize usability and accessibility Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with policies and brand standards around identity graphics, fonts, colors, web content, and online accessibility Serve as a subject matter expert on current design concepts and solutions and usability best practices for all web devices Provide thought leadership on usability and user-centered design principles Conduct quality assurance testing and implement changes to ensure proper Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the SharePoint sites built Be comfortable working within an Agile Scrum process with direct interaction from the customer and parallel developer teams Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation of SharePoint solutions, including design specifications, configurations, and user guides Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field 8+ years of experience in SharePoint/Website development, including experience with SharePoint Online and on-premises versions Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, lists, libraries, web parts, and workflows Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development using TypeScript, React, or Angular Experience with Power Automate (Flow) and Power Apps to create automated workflows and custom applications Familiarity with Microsoft 365 development tools and technologies, such as Azure, Graph API, and PnP PowerShell Strong Knowledge in JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, HTML, Visual Studio, WordPress and Bootstrap Strong Knowledge in Python Understanding of how decisions impact user experience in terms of browser and device compatibility, accessibility, internationalization, and performance Knowledge of design activities such as wireframing Understanding of how to incorporate user research and data into the design process Be collaborative and articulate Be able to clearly explain design choices and respond to customer and team feedback Preferred: Knowledge of web analytics tools and related analyses and reporting Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as .NET, C#, and SQL Server Experience with front-end web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with Python and Python libraries Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
