Work you’ll do:

We are looking for a Technical Leader and Advisor for large/significantly complex projects, including website redesign and social media (digital) presence. By utilizing a human-centered design approach, you will conduct user research to improve usability, and identify and develop creative web solutions for a wide variety of objectives and initiatives. The goal is to enhance digital strategy to drive a consistent and positive user experience across digital touchpoints.

Qualifications:

Required: 

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3+ years of creative design and research experience in a consulting or in-house environment1+ year(s) of experience producing and/or overseeing the production of Figma prototypes1+ year(s) of experience utilizing WordPress for website designExperience with modern design tools like Sketch, Axure, Principle, Framer, and InVisionExperience implementing Low Fidelity ConceptsExperience conducting User Interviews, User Surveys, and Journey MappingExperience performing User Research (Quantitative/Qualitative) and Usability TestingMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required for this roleAbility to be on site 100% of the time in McLean, VA

Preferred: 

SharePoint administration experienceAbility to code with PHP Basics, HTML, and JavaScriptSocial Media content creation experienceExperience with Heuristic Evaluation as a usability inspection methodA strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skillsProven ability to drive the design direction in terms of user interaction and design patternsPrior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
