Web Writer

​​The Web Writer is responsible for all written content on Hibu websites. They work independently, using information supplied through the client-consultation process, to create client focused, SEO friendly website content for clients (typically small to medium size service providers.)  Web Writers will work with a generative A.I. content platform to create website content and will edit that content to meet Hibu’s best practices and standards. Web Writers must maintain high quality and productivity standards, while always ensuring a customer focus. ​ 

 

Responsibilities of the Web Writer: 

Write and edit marketing copy for 2-3 websites/day, using generated A.I. content.   Analyze and synthesize info from client-consultation process to build website and related digital marketing products.  Make sound layout, structure, and content choices for all pages of the website.  Understand and implement current SEO trends and Hibu best practices.  Deep knowledge of all Hibu digital products and how they integrate and affect each other.  Maintain compliance regarding best practices and workflow processes.  Recognize situations that deviate from product definitions and act accordingly.  Meet identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in production and quality.  Complete all other duties as assigned to meet company goals and objectives. 

Competencies/ Critical Skills of the Web Writer: 

Effective verbal and written communication skills.  Able to write and edit captivating copy to engage readers and promote customer conversion.  Strong editorial skills to correct spelling, grammar, and continuity errors.  General working knowledge of generative A.I. technology.  Able to synthesize and summarize large amounts of data to key ideas.  Able to compare two sets of data to identify missing key information.  Strong attention to detail and ability to research info quickly and effectively.  Comprehensive understanding of Hibu’s best practices and digital marketing product set.   Strong customer focus to meet customer expectations and deliver best outcomes.  Able to quickly learn new products, systems, and processes in a fast-paced environment.  Able to identify issues impacting production and/or quality.   Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.   Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).  Strong time management skills.   Able to implement feedback to improve performance.
