The Website Optimization Specialist will support website product management, testing and optimization to boost lead capture and conversion through digital channels. This role involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external agency partners to plan, implement and optimize digital marketing initiatives, including content management, product backlogs, UX, front-end development (FED), multivariate tests, SEO and local listings. They will also assist with collecting/analyzing user feedback & behavioral analytics and will use data-driven insights to improve the website experience for potential residents and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS  Responsibilities:

• Support the Digital Marketing team with day-to-day website needs, including content uploads, creative updates, performance monitoring and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal site functionality
• Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns by ensuring website readiness, tracking performance and aligning website strategies with broader marketing goals
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of testing and optimization opportunities, implementing A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and user engagement
• Collaborate with Marketing team members to plan execute, and measure continuous website enhancements
• Write clear user stories, business requirements and acceptance criteria to support website enhancements and ensure their alignment with overall business goals
• Conduct ongoing QA/QC to identify and resolve usability issues, while proactively monitoring user feedback and behavioral analytics to ensure optimal user experience• Utilize SEO tools to monitor site crawlability, keyword rankings and technical health and assist with the implementation of on-page and technical SEO strategies to enhance organic search performance
• Analyze website performance data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations that improve lead generation, user engagement and overall site performance
• Build strong relationships with key vendors and external partners, setting clear expectations, timelines and deliverables to ensure project success
• Manage requests for internal and external resources to assist with copywriting, design and/or engineering action items; coordinate across teams to ensure successful and timely completion
• Follow project management best practices, including maintaining defined strategy/goals, documentation, timelines, checklists and communication plans to keep initiatives on track
• Identify potential roadblocks or risks that could impede project progress and escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met
• Perform other duties as assigned Core Competencies:• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain timelines and ensure deliverables are met efficiently and effectively
• Understanding of SEO best practices, website content management systems (CMS) and basic front-end development concepts to support site optimization and troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret website performance data, user behavior analytics and A/B test results to assist the team with making data-driven decisions that enhance user experience and lead generation
• Proactive approach to identifying website issues, user experience gaps and technical challenges, coupled with the ability to recommend practical solutions
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, external vendors and stakeholders, clearly conveying project goals, expectations and results 

 

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience (e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required)
• 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, website management and/or project management
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore) and product integration workflows
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize digital analytics data (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, user paths)
• Familiarity with UX best practices and a mobile-first design orientation
• Understanding of SEO strategies and search engine ranking factors
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS (advanced coding skills are not required)
• Experience creating dynamic performance reports to track and measure website effectiveness
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and stakeholder coordination
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Knowledge of production environments, project phases, and common digital marketing challenges
• Adaptability and flexibility to take on new roles as business needs evolve
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop new marketing skills
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities
• Positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
