Job Description
This role involves performing routine production tasks, operating specific machinery, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will operate subassembly equipment, coating equipment, ovens, material handling equipment, and other machinery to support production tasks. Additionally, you will perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance activities to ensure efficient operations. Monitoring, measuring, and recording quality data to maintain quality system requirements are essential. You will follow safe work practices, maintain a clean work environment, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Tracking orders, moving materials, and enabling the production process to flow efficiently and effectively are key tasks. Comprehending and accurately following operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations is crucial.
ResponsibilitiesOperate press machine to create parts with use of moldClean and prime parts with appropriate chemicals and solutionsMeasure stock to ensure that it is the correct thickness and lengthPlace by hand a variety of materials in mold, on the mandrel or in the build fixtureWeigh stock and scrap to be salvagedMonitor individual production for bad parts for early defect detectionUse production equipment and tools, such as calipers and scales, on a regular basisEnsure that materials handling recordkeeping is completed according to company and ISO standardsFollow internal safety policies and procedures at all timesMaintain work area free of safety hazards and clutter, including area setup and cleanup at the start and end of the shiftPerform other duties as assigned by the Working or Production Lead, Planner, Production Supervisor, and/or Module ManagerEssential SkillsAbility to lift up to 30 lbsRead a tape measureUse hand tools to fabricate partsAttention to detailSkilled in the use of hand tools including calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring equipmentSkilled in the use of machineryAdditional Skills & QualificationsCombination of relevant education and experience can be considered in lieu of exact educationWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Working in a manufacturing environment with variable environmental conditions within the plant, such as temperature instability, atmospheric conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors, and exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.98 - $25.28/hr.
