Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspect and test parts, products, and systems sourced from suppliers and internally produced. Each day, you will ensure that only compliant items are released to the next stage and finally delivered to the customer. You will also showcase your expertise by employing standard test protocols and applying specifications to ensure quality.You will be mainly accountable for:Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure the parts, products, and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, as applicable.Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation, as applicable in the local organization.Assisting in specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.This position works 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday.

Qualifications for the role

\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.\t1 + years of related experience / training or combination. \tAbility to write correspondence, including maintaining logs and document work performed.\tAbility to present information to individuals, groups or other employees of the organization. \tAbility to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs.\tAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.\tAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.\tAbility to use PC for tasks such as preparing job instructions and standard operating procedures, entering spreadsheet data and for email communications.\tAbility to use scientific methods and basic algebraic formulas.\tMust be able to perform normal job duties that require an individual to stoop, bend, and lift in excess of 50 pounds.\tPrior plating or related experience in a manufacturing environment.\tAbility to operate lift trucks and computer automatic hoist systems.\tKnowledge of special material handling requirements for hazardous materials.\tMust be able to adhere to all safety, environmental, and general work procedures at all times.\tWorking knowledge of chemistry.
