We offer competitive wages, full health care benefits and a continuous learning culture for those who want to grow with the company. **Job Summary:** Under the direction of the Laser / Break / Weld Supervisor, the area Weld Team Lead ensures the welding of metal parts are completed per the schedule at the highest level of safety and quality at the lowest possible cost, in accordance with company policies and procedures. **Job Duties / Responsibilities:** + Ensures that assigned work areas operate in a pro-active safety focused methodology. + Oversees needed components are available to complete orders on the shop floor. + Follows production schedule in assigned work areas to satisfy internal and external customer requirements per date required. + Prioritizes, schedules, and delegates work assignments, and directly leads the production of company products at the highest quality, meeting company performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements. + Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine scope of work. + Provides ongoing performance feedback via area board and daily area meetings. Celebrates successes, addresses complaints, and resolves problems. + Trains / Cross Trains workers to complete work in assigned area and other areas. + Manages daily area meetings and ensures boards are updated daily. + Leads safety toolbox talks. + Supports Continuous Improvement 5S and related activities + Performs other related duties as assigned. **Required Skills/Abilities:** + Able to read and understand drawings and symbols. + Follows production scheduling. + Has basic computer skills. + Resolves daily production issues with short-term and long-term planning. + Ability to interact with Engineering and all aspects of production with effective communication. + Conflict resolution abilities. **Education and Experience:** + High school diploma or equivalent + 4 years minimum laser experience + 4 years minimum press brake experience + 1 year of team leader experience of more **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to work in manufacturing environment on daily basis. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to work standing for up to 10 hours per day. _This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
