Are you ready to bring your welding skills to a dynamic team?
What You’ll Do:
Weld Carbon & Stainless Steel (and other alloys) using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes.
Operate TIG rigs with foot pedal control and perform weld tests (we provide guidance to ensure you succeed!).
Perform a variety of welding tasks, including:
Obtain specified electrodes, insert into portable holders, or thread consumable electrode wire through welding guns.
Efficiently use GTAW weld procedures (you’ll be given a 2” Schedule 80 6G test with a production timeframe).
Connect cables from the welding unit to adjust amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse per weld procedures.
Start the power supply to produce the current needed for welding.
Strike an arc and guide electrodes or guns along weld lines, maintaining arc length and speed to form consistent beads and fusion.
Tack assemblies together and perform basic fitting for accurate welds.
Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
Examine welds for bead size and specifications (our products go through a QC non-destructive examination, so attention to detail is key!).
Apply filler rods manually to supply weld metal.
Clean and degrease weld joints or workpieces as needed to maintain quality.
Repair broken parts or fill holes when necessary.
Grind pipe and fittings to create bevels and remove protective surfaces when required (minimal for Welder 1).
Chip off excess weld and slag, ensuring all welds are clean before QC inspection.
Preheat workpieces with a hand torch or heating furnace when specified.
Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in fixtures to prepare for welding.
Maintain a clean work environment, following our lean principles with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
What You Need:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year of welding experience Skills: Ability to read blueprints, work with various materials, and use a variety of welding techniques.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various positions, including overhead.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
