ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully read and understand American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols to meet or exceed client expectations.Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet.Perform welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Hand layout weldments with little to no supervision or assistance.Use fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications.Assist with creating work instructions.Complete first piece, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures.Pressure test fuel tanks and hydro test glycol tanks.Travel between plants and adapt to the product mix requirements at each facility.Analyze weld processes and recommend process improvements.Essential SkillsProficient in welding techniques including GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW.Ability to read and interpret American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols.Experience with welding various metals and alloys such as carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Skill in using fixtures, gauges, and jigs for manufacturing welded parts.Competence in performing inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand layout of weldments.Ability to pressure test fuel tanks and hydro test glycol tanks.Experience in creating work instructions.Capability to travel between plants.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fall River, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
