**Flux Core and MIG Welder**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled Flux Core and MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy gauge carbon steel and be able to read blueprints and weld symbols. This position requires the use of various hand and power tools, as well as forklift and overhead crane operation. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a clean and organized manner are essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform Flux Core and MIG welding on heavy gauge carbon steel.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Use tape measures and other measurement tools.
+ Engage in grinding, fitting, and fabrication tasks.
+ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
+ Utilize hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products.
+ Lift and adjust materials weighing 50-75 lbs. as needed for welding.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in Flux Core and MIG welding.
+ Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
+ Experience with overhead, flat, and structure welding.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with welding stainless steel.
+ Familiarity with weld shop environments.
+ Capability to perform welding tests (written and physical) following AWS standards.
+ Comfortable working in a heavy steel manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a heavy steel manufacturing setting in Youngstown. It is a mixed environment with both new and old equipment. The team consists of over 50 full-time workers, with approximately 120 people in production, both full-time and temporary.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
