2nd shift: Mon-Thur 4pm-2am; plus OT as needed3rd shift: Mon-Thur 8pm-6am; plus OT as neededThis position is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product. Weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines. 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMust receive a passing score on the Welder Qualification test and recertify skills as required by program guidelinesOperate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into placeAdjust welding current to proper weld configurationsHeats and forms metal parts and components using hand tools, torch or welding equipmentWelds components in flat, vertical or overhead positionsAccurately operate and read measuring devicesAssemble and weld various metal parts togetherProperly position material/parts to be weldedTrain and work in various areas of production in response to production demandsFollow verbal and written work instructions including ability to read blue printsAttention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standardsMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWork in both team and individual settingsRegular attendance requiredAll other duties and responsibilities that are assigned  QUALIFICATIONS
