**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are looking for skilled welders to join our team at our Troutville location. This role offers different shifts to suit your schedule, including Monday to Friday 5 PM - 5 AM, Friday to Sunday 5 AM - 5 PM, and Friday to Sunday 5 PM - 5 AM. You will be responsible for welding component assemblies per specifications, ensuring the quality and accuracy of work, and performing routine maintenance and adjustments of welding equipment as needed. **Responsibilities** + Follow verbal and written instructions and assume personal responsibility for quality of workmanship and safety. + Review, read, and understand blueprints, read tape measure, perform calculations, and basic shop-related mathematical tasks. + Obtain pre-cut parts from storage area as needed. + Weld component assemblies per specifications and ensure quality and accuracy of work. + Perform routine maintenance and adjustment of welding equipment as needed. + Sign or initial own work and record production as required by the area supervisor. + Maintain a neat and organized work area, complete daily housekeeping assignments as required by the area supervisor. + Operate machines to produce pre-welding parts as needed. + Clean all welded parts, grind, and de-bur parts prior to release. **Essential Skills** + Stick welding + MIG welding + Flux core welding + Acetylene torch use + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions + Blueprint reading + Basic shop-related mathematical skills + Machine operation + Grinding and de-burring **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Aluminum welding + Steel MIG welding + Plasma cutting + TIG welding + Stainless steel welding + Structure steel welding + Beveling + Cutting torch experience + Ideally 2 years of experience in any of the above skills **Why Work Here?** Join our team and benefit from two raises in the first year.
