**Welder | 1st & 2nd Shift** **$20+ Bolingbrook, IL** **Overview** We are seeking several experienced Welders around the Bolingbrook area. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding of various carwash parts. You will be performing welds at different angles, and other fabrication tasks such as grinding, polishing, and occasionally using a saw to cut materials. The typical schedule is 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM) for training and then will be moved to 2nd shift (3PM-11:30PM). There is mandatory overtime after the shift throughout the week and Saturdays. If interested in this position, then please apply today and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out within 24-48 hours. **Responsibilities** + Take stock and machined material and weld it together. + Perform MIG and TIG welding at different angles. + Work with materials and thicknesses that change often. + Handle materials, perform grinding/polishing, and use a saw to cut material when necessary. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of MIG welding experience on stainless steel. + 3 years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel. + Experience with a variety of material thicknesses (3/16" - 1/4" ideally but not necessary). + Experience in a custom shop (not production welding). + Proficiency in blueprint reading. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
