**Now hiring for Welders in the Halifax area!** **Job Description:** Candidates will be Mig welding metal stoves, welding steel or cast iron. Training will be provided on the exact specifications required. The role demands standing for the entire shift and lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include welding off blueprints, maintaining great attention to detail, and producing work at a specified rate. This position requires welding experience, comfort with production welding, and the ability to produce quality work. A year of experience or Trade School education is sufficient. **Hard Skills** + Mig Welder + Weld Symbols + Production welding **Work Environment** Must wear steel-toed boots. Bringing your own welding hood is preferred, but one will be provided if needed. All other PPE such as eyewear, hearing protection, gloves, and arm covers will be provided. The environment is not climate-controlled, so it can get hot in the summer. Long pants and a tee shirt or long-sleeved shirt are required; shorts are not allowed. The position is for 1st shift, working four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, with potential overtime on Fridays. The pay rate is $25 an hour.
