**WELDER 1ST SHIFT $20!!** **Job Description:** + MIG welding on structural beams. + Training on every position in the shop + You will be a welder but want to be open to fabrication, operating CNC's, may operate a forklift, etc. It is a smaller shop we cross train so everyone is capable of getting the work done. + These beams go into building foundations and add ons. + Homemade blueprints so they are different than most places, but are self explanatory if you have had experience with blueprints. **Skills:** + 1+ year of welding experience + Blueprint reading + Fab/CNC experience is a plus + Ability to work on Saturdays **Benefits:** + Profit sharing and bonuses are based on how the company does. + Work as much overtime people usually work 15 hours. + family owned and we value culture and improving that. **Work Environment:** This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Welding in a non-temperature controlled shop with large fans and open garage doors for air circulation. The shop employs 20-25 people and has an older, somewhat dirty environment with older equipment. The dress code is jeans and a t-shirt. Working hours are from 6 am to 4:30pm.
