With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, we serve customers in over 100 countries and employs more than 11,000 people worldwide. **Overview** **:** A welder is responsible for fusing or welding metal structural components using various welding techniques, such as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW). This role involves fabricating metal structures. Welders must ensure high-quality welds that meet industry standards and specifications. We offer training programs and opportunities for career advancement, making it an excellent place for welders to grow and develop their skills. **Responsibilities** **:** + Weld metal structural components together using flux core arc welding (FCAW) in the fabrication of steel structural components. + Perform welding operations requiring a limited amount of planning of work from blueprints or other written specifications and determining + operation sequence. + Perform visuals and UT repairs. + Adjust welding equipment to its prescribed settings. + Performs minor welding machine maintenance (i.e. tips, liners, gas cups). **Schedule** **:** + 2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 3PM-11PM + 3rd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 11PM-7AM **Qualifications** **:** + 2 year of previous welding experience in a professional environment. + The ability to accurately read a measuring tape. + The ability to pass on onsite welding assessment (3 pass cover pass on a T-joint). + The ability to work overtime based on production requirements. **Skills** **:** + Welding + Fabrication + Pulse + MIG + Flux + Core + FCAW + GMAW + Blueprints **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
