**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Candidates will be MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Tack welding and assembling the exhausts will also be part of their duties, although the majority of the work will be a mix of custom and production-style MIG welding. Candidates need to know how to read blueprints and weld symbols. Being able to perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop is key to learning and growing within the company. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel. + Produce exhaust systems for various markets including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road. + Tack weld and assemble exhaust systems as needed. + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. + Assist with fabrication work such as running a brake press, shear, and roller. + Perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop to support company operations and personal growth. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel. + Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols. + Experience with metal fabrication techniques. + Knowledge of plasma cutting. + Familiarity with using a tape measure and brake press. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG welding is a plus. + Comfortable with assisting in various fabrication tasks. + Ability to adapt to different tasks and work in a dynamic environment. **Work Environment** The work is conducted in a new facility that is well laid out and organized.
