**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
Candidates will be working in a pre-fabrication shop to weld together frames for modular units. Responsibilities include MIG welding and fluxcore welding on steel, reading and interpreting blueprints, controlling AMP and tolerances to produce clean, strong welds, cutting materials, reading tape measures, and using grinders to finish welds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding and fluxcore welding on steel materials.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
+ Execute flat and horizontal welding, with occasional vertical welding.
+ Control AMP and tolerances to ensure high-quality welds.
+ Cut materials accurately using various tools.
+ Measure materials with precision using tape measures.
+ Utilize grinders to finish and perfect welds.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in MIG and fluxcore welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Proficiency in math and measuring skills.
+ Capability to read a ruler to 1/16 of an inch.
+ Understanding of hand and power tools.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
+ Possession of basic hand tools and knowledge of their proper use.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Fitting experience (preferred).
+ TIG/Stick welding experience (preferred).
+ Ability to read wire diagrams and written instructions.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a fast-paced, repetitive, and construction-related pre-fabrication shop. Safety is a priority, with requirements to wear steel toe boots and safety glasses. The dress code includes long pants and t-shirts. The work schedule includes two shifts: the first shift is from 6am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekends as requested and given prior notice. A 30-minute lunch break is provided.
