**Aerotek is hiring multiple Welders!** **Job Description** Perform basic fit-up operations in preparation for welding, generally on high-turn stock and standard products. Use fixtures when available and appropriate. Provide set-up for welding operation. Perform MIG welding on products with medium complexity of moving parts and medium tolerances. Regularly weld plate thicknesses up to 3/8" and occasionally up to 1/2". Ensure welds are free from defects and meet blueprint and traveler specifications. Meet welding time and quality standards as established by the organization. Ensure fit-up and weld operations are completed at a level to ensure organizational profitability. May perform minor assembly periodically. Use overhead crane to position weldments. Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
