**Job Title: Mig Welder** **Job Description** This is a MIG welding position specializing in carbon steel. The role involves creating bridge railings, architecturally exposed structural steel, steel tensile membrane structures, bridge joints, structural steel, traffic barriers, and storm water solutions. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading weld symbols, MIG welding, and fitting mild steel. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components. + Create and assemble bridge railings, structural steel, and traffic barriers. + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. + Fabricate and assemble various steel structures, including tensile membrane structures and storm water solutions. + Utilize tape measures and schematics for precise measurements. + Grind and finish welded components as required. + Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Experience in structural welding and fabrication. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Skill in using tape measures and other measurement tools. + Knowledge of welding techniques for carbon steel and mild steel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG welding and flux core welding is a plus. + Ability to fit complex blueprints and drawings to create fixtures. + Experience with aluminum welding is a nice-to-have. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy quarterly attendance bonuses and weekly pay.
