You will also assist with grinding to smooth parts of the equipment, as well as any other tasks assigned. Welding Techniques: Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on various materials, particularly stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, ensuring precision and quality. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand welding requirements. Equipment Setup: Set up and calibrate TIG welding equipment, adjusting parameters such as current, gas flow, and electrode size as needed. Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components to ensure proper alignment and bonding. Quality Assurance: Inspect and test welds for defects, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
