**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled welders to join our team, responsible for fitting parts to print and MIG welding using weld symbols on drawings. You will perform quality checks using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures, and use a grinder or sander to smooth welds. All welds will be inspected by a quality inspector before being sent out. Certification will be required upon hiring, and you must maintain the quality standards set by the Department of Defense (DOD). **Responsibilities** + Fit parts to print and perform MIG welding using weld symbols on drawings. + Use jigs to fit parts as needed. + Conduct quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. + Grind or sand down welds to meet quality standards. + Ensure all welds pass inspection by a quality inspector before dispatch. + Maintain and uphold the quality standards required by the DOD. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of MIG welding experience on mild steel. + Ability to read blueprints. + Proficiency in reading weld symbols. + Experience with TIG welding and fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG welding. + Experience welding aluminum. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a 4-day work week and excellent benefits in a family-owned company.
