Our Winamac client is seeking EXPERIENCED MIG Welders for their 1st Shift Hoist Mounter openings.

***MUST be knowledgeable with  mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and able to lift up to 80 pounds.***

Welder Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $26.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 03:00pm)Pay depending on experience.

Job Summary:

Assemble, mount, adjust and test mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment – truck mounted roll-off hoists

Duties/Responsibilities:

Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.Mount hoist on truck: drilling, bolting, welding, plumbing, wiringTest mechanical products and equipment after assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.

Welder Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge in welding, drilling, use of pneumatic tools, use of fixtures and instructionsUse of overhead cranesTruck maintenance mechanic knowledge an advantageRouting and plumbing hydraulicsAbility to read installation instructions, follow checklistsProven experience in vocational body-building/ upfitting is an advantage and will be reflected in rate of payProblem SensitivityInformation OrderingManual DexterityNear VisionMultilimb CoordinationControl Precision

Either of the following are an advantage:

Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school: ASE, welding, truck or vehicle maintenanceProven experience in upfitting or vocational body building
