**_Now Hiring 1st shift MIG Welders!_** **Job Duties:** + We are hiring MIG welders of all levels. We are looking for candidates ranging from entry-level to those with AWS certification, all the way up to very experienced welders. If you are an entry-level candidate, you will start with tacking off production and gradually move onto the floor for fabrication with all work being inspected. You will need to take a weld test, which includes reading a blueprint and performing a math test (including fractions). The welding work will primarily involve steel, and TIG experience is a plus. Ideal candidates will have experience in tank and structural welding. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on structural steel + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics + Conduct basic math calculations including fractions + Operate machinery and drive a forklift + Lift up to 50 lbs as necessary + Engage in custom fabrication tasks such as metal breaking, welding, painting, and CNC operations + Collaborate with engineering firms to design and fabricate new builds + Inspect and ensure the quality of welds **Hours/Shift/Pay** + 6am - 2:45pm + Pay ranges from $20-$25 based on experience and weld test + Pay is weekly **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
