**Job Title: Welder** **Shift:** 1st shift: 6a - 2:30p Monday - Friday OR 3rd shift: 6p - 4:30a Monday - Thursday **Pay Rate:** $18-22/hr for 1st shift, $22-25/hr for 3rd shift **Job Description:** Candidate will be responsible for laying out various components of the body of the trailer and customizing to the fit of each specific order. Will be doing mostly MIG welding (some TIG/20%) with stainless steel and aluminum metals. **MUST HAVES:** 1. MIG welding experience (Welding degree or equivalent working experience) 2. Blueprint Reading - Will be following specific blueprints for each customized order. Need to be able to comprehend and work off of these with no issue. 3. Measuring tools - Will be utilizing rulers, tape measures, various gauges, etc. Must be able to read and understand these as well. (have had multiple interviews where candidate's aren't able to use basic tape measure. Please confirm candidate can measure down to 1/16th of an inch) **Skills:** blueprints, fitter, fabrication, mig welding, weld, welder, measurements, mechanical assembly, blueprints, schematics **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** - Associates degree in welding, OR 1+ years experience with welding and fitting in a professional environment - Mechanical aptitude - Experience and ability to read/comprehend detailed blueprints/schematics **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
