**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Perform TIG welding of stainless steel exhaust systems ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" thick. Engage in low production welding and repair welding of robotic welds that require manual correction. This role is essential in supporting the automotive and heavy-duty industries. **Responsibilities** + Perform manual TIG welding of stainless steel exhaust systems independently. + Run robotic weld machines or Continuous Resistance Welders during low manual welding demand periods. + Troubleshoot robotic weld machines and train operators on their use. + Operate, set, and maintain manual production welding equipment. + Ensure compliance with customer specifications while monitoring quality and processing paperwork. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Meet fast-paced production requirements. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel with thicknesses of 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2". + 1+ year of stainless steel welding experience. + 1+ year of experience welding 1/8" material. + 1+ year of blueprint reading skills, including reading weld symbols and identifying metals and material gauges. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-5 years of TIG welding experience. + Experience with robotics in welding. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great insurance and benefits starting the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. The facility is clean but can be noisy due to machine operations. The dress code requires steel-toe shoes, which must be worn at all times, along with provided safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. The first shift operates from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, with occasional Fridays from 6am to 2:30pm.
