Hiring for Welders/Fitter Fabricators in Sedro Woolley, WA!

 

Main responsibilities will include:

Welding competency in all positions. Able to set weld machines to optimum parameters for work in accordance with WPS.Understands weld symbols and prepares joints in accordance with code.Competent in metal fabrication to exact specifications and drawings.Operate machinery and tools such as grinders, saws, torches, and drills to measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to design specifications.Fit, align, and adjust parts to ensure proper functionality and attention to the design.Performs fitting work as instructed. Utilizes jigs and fixtures where appropriate.Places welds of proper size, spacing and sequence per work instruction.Ability to read and understand shop plans, blueprints, and work orders.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion. 

 Pay rate: $20-35 per hour - depending on experience

 

Location: Sedro Woolley, WA

 

Skills & Qualification:

High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree.3+ years of experience welding or trade school education.Certified welder holding current WABO or AWS certification (FCAW).Skillful operation of most non-specialized metal working equipment.Understands and applies visual inspection criteria in pre-QC work checks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00
