Job Description
As a Welder, your primary responsibilities will include MIG welding aluminum. If you don't have experience welding aluminum, no problem. We will train you. You will weld aluminum parts together, stand and weld, and tack parts of trailers using .035 wire. Additionally, you will need to read and interpret blueprints to determine the welds to lay, measurements to take, and positions to adhere to.

Work Environment
Our manufacturing facility is located on the SW side of Cedar Rapids, IA. The work environment is similar to a general shop, cool in the winters and warm in the summer. We have three main departments: service (fixing pre-existing equipment), welding (welding the equipment), and final assembly (hooking up the last few components). Shift timings are: 1st shift (5am-1:30pm OR 6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm), 3rd shift (9:30pm-6:00am). All candidates will initially train on the 1st shift for the first few weeks. The quicker you learn, the quicker you will move to your assigned shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
