Job Title: Welder

Job Description

The Welder is responsible for the welding service, maintenance, and repair of small to large marine vessels. This role involves performing random maintenance on vessels and fabricating custom prototypes from supplied drawings. The Welder must be proficient in setting up and welding mild steel using pulsed GMAW push-pull welding equipment in all positions, producing sound welds at a consistent rate to maintain both the schedule and quality of vessels in production.

Work Environment

Work both indoors in confined spaces and outdoors. Some tasks may be performed 25 feet high. You will work with a Wire Feed welding machine. The dress code includes steel-toed safety boots, a welding helmet, and safety glasses/goggles. Candidates should have their basic tools like a chipping hammer. The shift time is from 7:30 am to 4 pm, with potential overtime and travel to off-site locations as required.
