Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Welder who specializes in build-up welding to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role involves stacking weld on weld to fill gaps for repair on various equipment. Our job shop environment is very busy and ever-changing, with a strong reputation for taking care of our employees and retaining them.
ResponsibilitiesPerform build-up welding by stacking weld on weld to repair equipment.Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.Conduct fabrication and structural steel welding.Repair and refurbish equipment to be sent back out in the field.Ensure high-quality welding standards are met and maintained.Adapt to the fast-paced and ever-changing job shop environment.Essential SkillsProficiency in Tig and Mig welding.Experience with build-up welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong fabrication skills.Knowledge of structural steel welding.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious build-up welding experience is required.Welding certifications are not mandatory but preferred.Mechanical aptitude and a good base level of knowledge in welding and fabrication.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
