As a Welder/Fabricator at Aerotek, you’ll play a vital role in creating high-quality metal products. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Welding and Fabrication: Utilize your expertise in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.Fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications.Metal Preparation and Assembly: Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and shaping.Assemble parts to create finished products.Quality Control: Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and adherence to standards.Ensure finished products meet quality requirements.Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you’ll need:

Welding Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings.Attention to Detail: Precision matters in welding and fabrication.Physical Stamina: Welding can be physically demanding; be prepared for extended periods of standing and lifting.Certification: Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) preferred.
