**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team in a production welding and processing environment. The welder will perform various types of welding, including tac, MIG, plate to plate, block to plate, butt joint, stitch welding, pipe welding, and square block welding for brackets and components for large equipment. Additionally, the welder may be asked to operate a press brake, paint line, powder coating, and assembly tasks. **Responsibilities** + Perform tac and MIG welding in a production environment. + Execute plate to plate, block to plate, butt joint, stitch welding, pipe welding, and square block welding. + Work on welding brackets and components for large equipment. + Operate a press brake, paint line, and powder coating equipment. + Participate in assembly tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with grinding and fabrication. + Skilled in using a tape measure. + Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel ranging from 20 gauge to 1 inch. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of primary responsibilities. + Ability to work independently. + A growth mindset and strong attendance record are essential. + Certification in welding is preferred. + Ability to produce clean welds and take pride in work. **Why Work Here?** We are a growing company in Dunlap, TN with opportunities for career advancement into supervisory roles. We are expanding and have added 6-7 new customers in 2024. The work involves production welding in designated welding bays across two buildings. The shift runs Monday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available on Fridays if needed. We offer paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch. The facility handles mild steel from 20 gauge to 1 inch in thickness. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunlap, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
