Job Title: Certified Welder

Job Description

Our company operates seven state-of-the-art fabrication facilities and is proud to offer the security of decades of full service by a sound company that has grown to become the nation’s premier steel tank manufacturer. We build large tanks used to store pressurized water to cool data centers, primarily serving customers like Amazon and Google. We are seeking certified welders with 3-5 years of experience in welding, ideally in lap and butt welding.

Shift and Pay

This is a direct hire position for our 2nd shift (2pm - 12am, Monday - Thursday), with initial training on the 1st shift.

Pay ranges from $25-$30/hr

ResponsibilitiesWeld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards using FCAW, GMAW, SAW, and SMAW welding techniques.Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided).Use electric grinding equipment.Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.Measure materials accurately using a tape measure up to 1/16\".Work mandatory overtime when needed (not often).Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or Plant Manager.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of welding experience.Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.Experience with MIG/Stick welding and blueprint welding.Lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.Repeated bending, squatting, and kneeling.Standing at work station for extended periods of time.Working in confined spaces (inside tanks).Comfortable wearing a full-face respirator when working inside tank for final assembly/weld.Working at heights up to 16 feet.Climbing ladders up to 16 feet in height.Ability to crawl through a 12\" manhole.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00
