**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will heat and form metal parts and components using various tools and welding equipment. You must be proficient in positioning materials/parts to be welded and capable of welding all materials at the location. You will work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and be required to perform your tasks inside, on top of, and underneath trucks. **Responsibilities** + Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torch, plasma cutter, carbon arc, or other welding equipment. + Properly position materials/parts to be welded. + Perform welding on all materials at the location. + Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place. + Adjust parts and materials as required. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in grinding and blueprint reading. + Skill in MIG welding and fabrication. + Ability to weld stainless steel and other materials. + Experience in a production environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to accurately operate and read measuring devices. + Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team in a dynamic and challenging work environment. There are some paint fumes. The team consists of 260 employees. The dress code includes jeans and a T-shirt. Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided includes a hard hat or bump cap, eye protection, vest, and ear plugs. Steel toe boots are required. Shift hours vary: 1st shift starts as early as 5am, 2nd shift runs from 5pm to 3:30am, and the weekend shift is from 5am to 5pm, Friday to Sunday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dodge Center, MN **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
