Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our custom fabrication shop, which partners with various companies to complete unique projects. The ideal candidate will have formal welding and fabrication training and/or 1-2 years of working experience in the field. A strong desire to learn, be coached, and help lead others over time is highly valued.

ResponsibilitiesWork from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to build various parts, components, or complete machines.Weld components, develop component weld fixtures, or build machines while maintaining required quality specifications.Set up welding machines.Perform MIG welding on steel.Grind and finish welds.Work on a variety of projects depending on current needs.Essential SkillsMIG or TIG welding experience (excluding Stick welding).Familiarity with drawings or blueprints.Experience working with carbon steel (experience with aluminum is a plus).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial manufacturing setting with a friendly, family-type atmosphere. The company is procedure and process-driven with a strong focus on safety and effective work practices. The shop temperatures can fluctuate and are not climate controlled. The team consists of approximately 50 employees, and the company prides itself on training candidates to become skilled welders and mechanics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
