**Entry Level MIG Welder** **Pay: $19 - $22** **Shift: 7AM - 4:30PM** **Responsibilities** + Manufacturing various seating and fixtures. + Operating machines to prep and finish welds. + Manually guide the electrode or gun along the weld line. + Maintain the length of the arc and speed of movement for proper fusion. + Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. + Examine welds for bead size and other specifications. + Apply filler rod manually to supply weld metal. + Clean or degrease weld joints or work pieces. + Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes. + Chip off excess weld, slag, and spatter. + Preheat work pieces with a hand torch or heating furnace. **Essential Skills** + Experience with blueprints (preferred). + MIG welding experience (6+ months manually welding). + Basic understanding of welding fundamentals. + Experience with stainless, mild, or carbon steel. + Positive attendance history. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Eagerness to learn. + Experience with hand/power tools. + Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled environment. + Open to overtime. + 1st shift availability. **Why Work Here?** This is a family-owned company with a strong presence in the industry, specializing in stationary and telescopic seating manufacturing. It is a relatively clean, medium-sized facility. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
