Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Equipment Control department supporting the US team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Welder
**Location:** Jacksonville, FL
**Pay Range:** $19-21 per hour
**Shift:** Monday - Friday 7am -4:30pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes and techniques.
+ Set up welding equipment and perform welding operations on various materials, including steel and aluminum.
+ Inspect and test welds for quality, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
+ Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
+ Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalency; vocational training in welding is a plus.
+ Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
+ Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
+ Valid welding certification is preferred.
