**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** This position is for a MIG welder. The role involves welding various types of components for structures, including floors and side panels. You will be welding different beams (I-beams), channels, and HSS tubes. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on various structural components. + Weld floor and side panels of structures. + Weld different types of beams such as I-beams and channels. + Work with HSS tubes. + Read and interpret blueprints for welding tasks. + Measure and cut materials using a tape measure. + Utilize hand tools for welding and fabrication tasks. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with using a tape measure. + Knowledge of welding structural steel and mild steel. **Work Environment** This position is based in a manufacturing facility. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, with some potential for work on Fridays. You will primarily be working 40-48 hours per week, with hours from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
